National Volunteer Week

Last week was National Volunteer Week 18-24 May. It’s a time to celebrate and thank the 9.5 million volunteers across Australia who give to communities every day. This includes Belnorth’s coaches, managers, CVOs, working bees, and committee members.

Capital Football celebrated Star Volunteers from each club and Belnorth’s Star for 2026 is Jane McInally, our Competitive Registrar. Well done Jane on just recognition!

The National Volunteer Week slogan for 2026 is “Your Year To Volunteer”. So if you are feeling voluntary, gives us bell via our Volunteer page. We’d love to hear from you!

Kaleen Parking Guide Map

ACT Sportsgrounds will be a focus of parking operations during May and June across all grounds, but in particular: Kaleen, Harrison, O’Connor, and Dickson.

Patrols will occur on one weeknight a fortnight and most Saturdays and Sundays.

To assist members with finding legal and safe parking options, we have developed a Kaleen Parking Guide Map.

Road Rules: Parking

To compliment the Kaleen Parking Guide Map, we have summarised the important parking road rules applicable to suburban playing fields.
