Two Team Managers are required per team. The term Manager is interchangeable with Coach.

Managers need to be over 18.

Junior Managers can’t also be a player on the team.

Require that Junior Managers (and Senior Managers of vulnerable players), need to provide WWVP details as part of the nomination form, supplying Card number, expiry date and State it was issued in.

U10-U18 & Senior Managers will be required to access Dribl. This may require registration. Details to be advised.

If no WWVP card is available during nomination, they have to apply and supply an application number and date.

The above requirements will be enforced during the nomination process. If they are not met, team nominations will not be considered.

During the nomination period, Juniors will have a cap of 8 teams per age group competition.

Seniors will have a cap of 24 teams each of Womens, Mixed and Open.

If the age group cap is reached, teams will still be able to submit a nomination on the waiting list.

We strongly encourage teams to still nominate if caps are reached. There will likely be age groups who don’t reach their caps. This will allow space for Waiting List teams.

For U10-U18 and Seniors, Dribl fixtures and team sheets will be utilised for the competition.

U13 Age group will play on half-fields instead of quarter-fields in anticipation of them moving to full-field football in winter 2027.

Senior Teams must have a designated home jersey colour that is not white, either whole or part, i.e. no white stripes/chequerboard on the body of the jersey

Away teams will be required to wear a white jersey to avoid clashes.

Senior team are limited to a maximum of 3 NPL players in their squad.

After the nomination window closes, team managers will receive an email invoice from Xero. You will have 72 hours (3 days) to pay your invoice or your position may be forfeited to a team on the waiting list.

Payment is by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Payment must be made as one transaction by the team manager. Instructions for payment will be provided on the invoice.

When a team is winning by three goals, the trailing team will be allowed to have an extra player on the field.

For Juniors and Seniors the goalkeeper is not allowed to kick or drop-kick the ball directly from their hands, neither on the volley nor half volley. The ball must be thrown or rolled from the hands or played from the ground with their feet, within 8 seconds.
