NB: There are administrative fees for refund requests. $20 before teams are announced and $40 after they are announced. Once the season has commenced, refunds will need to be calculated pro-rata. There are no refunds after the 30th of June.

The age group is based on the player’s age on the 31st of December of the current year
The Senior Competition is for any age, generally over 18, but at least 16 years at the time of competition.
Belnorth may consider requests for players to be placed in a lower or higher age group based on the circumstances and skills of the individual player. These circumstances will be assessed against broader considerations, such as the impact on team and division allocations in the gaining and losing age groups.
These players will be assessed using the same criteria for players from the age group they wish to play in.
For the U10 to U18 age groups, Belnorth will require Capital Football approval for players to play two age groups higher or for any age groups lower.
Players placed into a lower or higher age group at their request will register for their actual age group and then pay the difference between it any higher age group. There is no reduced registration for playing in a lower age group.
Requests to play in a different age group should be directed to the registrars for the actual age group and the different age group.
Junior winter season kick-offs on Saturdays are generally as follows:
- 8.45 am: U6 and U7 Girl/Open
- 9.40 am: U8 Girls/Open
- 10.00 am: U5 Open
- 10.30 am: U9 Girls/Open
- 11:30 am: U10
- 12:30 pm: U11 and U13
- 1:45 pm: U12 and U14
- 3:10 pm: U15, U16 and U18
There are grading sessions for U10 to U18 Juniors in February. It is recommended that all players attend grading. Those who wish to be considered for higher divisions or older age group are required to attend grading sessions.
Players must be registered with Belnorth on PlayFootball to attend grading.

Open competitions are open to all genders. Sometimes they are called Mixed.
MiniRoos is the name for age groups from U5 to U11. U12 to U18 are called the Junior League.
Registrations are confirmed once teams are finalised for the season. This is usually after registration closing dates.
