Belnorth FC Hardship Scholarship 2025
Overview
In 2025, Belnorth is offering hardship scholarships to Belnorth families facing hardship that may prevent them from playing football in the upcoming winter season. The scholarship is open to junior and senior players, and only one scholarship will be awarded per family (please do not submit multiple applications from the same family, it may disqualify you from consideration).
Eligibility
- You must be facing hardship that will prevent you from playing football in 2025.
- The scholarship must be used at Belnorth in 2025. The scholarship is not transferable to another year.
- You must have played for Belnorth in either 2023 or 2024.
- The player can be either a junior or senior player.
- Only one applicant per family.
Closing Date
Applications for the first round close on the Friday 29th March or until funds are exhausted.

FAQ
What hardship qualifies?
We understand that everyone’s circumstances are different and hardship may be financial or personal. Please provide as much or as little information as would you like in your application.
What is included?
The cost of registration only. Belnorth will not cover any additional costs associated with playing football in 2025, including boots, shin pads, uniform etc.
How many scholarships are available?
The funds available are limited and will cover 4-5 registrations depending on the ages of applicants.
Can multiple people in one family apply?
Unfortunately as there are limited funds the committee will consider only one application per family.
Who decides who wins a scholarship?
The awarding of any hardship scholarships will be at the sole discretion of the Belnorth Committee and their decision is final. The Committee will assess the applications in a fair and neutral way, aiming to provide support to those who most need it.
Is my application confidential?
Yes. The Belnorth Committee will consider the information you have provided and the names of recipients may also be shared with the funder of the scholarship only. Once a decision is made, the information you submitted will be destroyed.
Will Belnorth announce who won?
Due to the personal nature of this scholarship, the Committee will not publicly announce the recipients. All applicants will be notified by email once the scholarships are finalised. Please contact admin@belnorth.org for further information
