Volunteer

Belnorth FC is run by Volunteers

Belnorth FC’s coaches, managers and committee members are all un-paid volunteers and make the club tick. Without them, the players wouldn’t get on the park running around and kicking balls.

It is a constant struggle to fill vacant positions, especially committee and other behind-the-scenes auxiliary roles.

The Coach

The coach is usually a parent of one of the players, who attends training and games.

  • 1-2 hours per week (U8 and up) for weekday trainings
  • Coaching the team on the weekend
  • U10 and up: completing Match Sheets (Dribl) with manager
  • Works with the team manager to ensure fair game play/time for players
  • Development the players skills through training sessions

The Manager

The manager is usually a parent who is committed to attending most of the games while helping out the coach where needed along with the general running of the team.

Club Vested Official (CVO)

A CVO represents the club and is responsible for the actions of supporters from their club.

Essentially, they get to wear a cool vest, help ensure spectators behave themselves and foster respect.
