U5-U7 Goals are ready

big thank you to Graeme, our Grounds & Fixtures Manager, for assembling all our new U5-U7 goals. All forty-eight of them!

We are excited about this upgrade for our Saturday morning games. There is a learning curve with setting them up and packing them down. Check out this video of football legend David Zdrilic running through the process.

Kanga Cup Registrations Close 8th of May

The Kanga Cup is the largest International Youth Football Tournament south of the equator, held right here in Canberra from July 2nd to the 7th! It is for U9 to U18 players and teams from all over the world.

Belnorth Football Club has a long association with the Kanga Cup, being the only club to have entered teams into the competition at every edition and is one of, if not the most successful. We’d encourage teams to be a part of that proud tradition.

Registrations close 8/5/2023, so be quick!

If you need help with registering or recruiting more players to form a team, please contact admin@belnorth.org.

To support Belnorth teams in entering the Kanga Cup, Belnorth offers a 25% rebate on the entry fee. Once entered, teams can apply via the form available here.

Australia Cup Run Ends

Our Men’s State League One team’s run in the Australia Cup ended with a 2-5 defeat to Belconnen United in the 5th round. Despite the defeat, the boys can be proud of going the furthest the club has ever gone in the competition. They are already looking at the business in the league, winning three from three, sitting top of the ladder with a 17-goal difference.

Congratulations, Belconnen United, wishing you every success in the Australia Cup and the Capital Premier League, hopefully with promotion back to the NPL on the horizon.

Coaches Needed for Juniors & Senior Women

The club is volunteer-run, and coaches and managers are an essential cog in the machine.

If your child’s team needs a coach, don’t be scared to put your hand up to volunteerCo-coaching and assistant coaching are also encouraged, and it is highly desirable to have a manager.
