Kanga Cup Registrations Close 8th of May
The Kanga Cup is the largest International Youth Football Tournament south of the equator, held right here in Canberra from July 2nd to the 7th! It is for U9 to U18 players and teams from all over the world.
Belnorth Football Club has a long association with the Kanga Cup, being the only club to have entered teams into the competition at every edition and is one of, if not the most successful. We’d encourage teams to be a part of that proud tradition.
Registrations close on 8/5/2023, so be quick!
If you need help with registering or recruiting more players to form a team, please contact email@example.com.
To support Belnorth teams to enter the Kanga Cup, Belnorth offers a 25% rebate of the entry fee. Once entered, teams can apply via the form available here.

The cost is $90 for the 10-week program with 5/5/2023 being the second session.
You can register via PlayFootball.com.au, or for further information, contact Andrew at firstname.lastname@example.org.
BUFC Blue Devils Academy
For Belnorth players U8 to U12 looking for pathways into NPL, Belconnen United FC (BUFC) is running their Blue Devils Academy in Term 2, with grading happening on Monday, May 8th, at Aranda.
The program cost for Term 2 is $250 and is led by B and C licensed coaches. It runs for 10 weeks with 1-hour sessions. Participants receive a shirt, shorts, socks and a ball. It is an ideal preparation for BUFC development squads (BUDS) and is a pathway to BUFC’s Premier League.
Week 1 (8th May) will be used for player assessment and is free of charge – offers of placement in the academy will be communicated after that first week, together with payment information.
Booking information is available here https://www.trybooking.com/CHRHW. Academy contacts are below.
Coaches Needed for Juniors & Senior Women
The club is volunteer-run, and coaches and managers are an essential cog in the machine.
If your child’s team needs a coach, don’t be scared to put your hand up to volunteer. Co-coaching and assistant coaching are also encouraged, and it is highly desirable to have a manager.
