Australia Cup 5th Round is tomorrow

Belnorth FC takes on neighbouring CPL team Belconnen United FC tomorrow in the 5th round of the Australia Cup.

When: 6:30 pm Kick-Off, Wednesday 19th April

Where: Gungahlin Enclosed, Warwick St, Gungahlin ACT 2912

Come along, and wear yellow and blue to cheer the boys to victory.

U5-U9 Teams, Orientation & Draws

All U5 to U9 Open and Girls teams have now been announcedU5-U9 draws have also been released and are now available here.

In preparation for the season starting on 29/4/2023, we are holding a U5-U9 Orientation Day on Saturday, 22nd April.

Teams will be given their jerseys for the season along with some information on what game days involve, where teams play and to practice how to put goals up like our brand new U5-U7 goals.

It’s not an event to miss!

Age group times for the Orientation Day on the 22/4/2023 are:

  • 8:45 am: U6 Open & U6/7 Girls
  • 9:30 am: U7 Open
  • 10:15 am: U8 Open & U8/9 Girls
  • 11:00: U9 Open
  • 11:30: U5 Open

Have you been around the block several times in the U5-U9 age groups, and are you a Game Day Guru? Or keen to assist the Club Shop on Saturday.

Then we want you! Your know-how and helping hands will be invaluable to make Saturday successful.

Round 1 of the 2023 season for U10 to U18 teams is finally here on 22/4/2023. Capital Football have released the finalised draws and are available here.

Club Shop Open Saturday 22nd April

The Club Shop will be open again this Saturday, 22nd of April 9:30 am at Kaleen Playing Fields to coincide with the U5-U9 Orientation Day and first round of the U10-U18 season.

Sales will be strictly cashless. Sorry, no cash.

Coaches Needed for Juniors & Senior Women

The club is volunteer-run, and coaches and managers are an essential cog in the machine.

If your child’s team needs a coach, don’t be scared to put your hand up to volunteerResources and courses are available to give you the tools to make training sessions a breezeCo-coaching and assistant coaching are also encouraged, and it is highly desirable to have a manager.

Current Belnorth FC Vacancies

Roles that are vacant and available now.

  • Treasurer (volunteer/committee): Responsible for maintaining the financial accounts, receiving money, and paying invoices. A financial background with knowledge of bookkeeping is desirable. Belnorth’s bookkeeping is managed with Quickbooks.
  • Small Side Games Registrar (volunteer/committee): Manages the registration and running of the U10 and U11 age groups along with general committee member duties (e.g. meetings, decisions)
  • President (volunteer/committee member): Capital Football Liaison (disciplinary), Representative on External Meetings, Public Grant Administration, External Media Liaison.
  • Vice President (volunteer/committee): Responsible for assisting the President.

Every volunteer, whether a coach, manager, CVO, referee or committee member, helps the club tick. If you want to help, please email admin@belnorth.org.
