Finals and Season’s End

The winter season at Belnorth FC draws to a close this Saturday, the 10th of September, with the last U5 to U15 games.

With the end of the season, our U12 and up teams are on the hunt for silverware. We are happy to report that our Mens Masters O35/2 and the O45 Originals were victorious in their Grand Finals on Sunday. Special mention goes to Fitzy from the O35/2 and Bruno of the O45, who were awarded MVPs in their Grand Finals!

We also had runners-up medals for our Womens State League 3 and Mens Masters O55 Golden Years. Unfortunately, our U16 Girls, Belnorth Spirit, went down in extra time in their semi-final on Saturday.

With one game left, good luck to the U12/2 Girls Strikers, who are in pole position to claim the premiership (first on the ladder). Congratulations to the U14/2 Girls Otters, who have clinched their premiership!

Congratulations to all our teams this year, from U5 to O55. It’s been great to fit in an entire season, albeit a couple of washouts. Celebrating it at our Presentations on the 17th of September will be great.

Team Kit Returns

With the conclusion of the winter season fast approaching, it’s time for teams to think about kit returns. After their last game, we ask players and parents to clean their jerseys and give them to their coach or manager to return to the club.

All kit returns will be at Kaleen Play Fields.

For the U5-U15 age groups, kit returns will happen on the morning of the 17th of September.

For U16, U18 and senior teams, they can bring their kits (jerseys, balls, bibs and other equipment) to Kaleen Playing Fields during Saturday game day on the 10th of September or the morning of the 17th of September.
