Belnorth AGM held Sunday 8th December 2024
Sadly with such a poor showing at the AGM, and the committee shrinking in size this year, we are urgently reaching out to our members for support. Belnorth desperately needs at least one volunteer to fill the role of secretary and two volunteers to fill the roles of age registrars for the 2025 season.
Without people filling these roles the club will be operating with a skeleton committee for the 2025 year. Note, even if you can’t commit to a full time role we would still love to hear from you!
So what does that mean?
Changes to the way we operate are inevitable and a significant drop in our service to our members during player registration time and pre-season WILL occur. Reducing services will be necessary to avoid further committee burnout experienced this year from the aftermath of record numbers for the 2024 Winter and Summer Competitions.
What can you do?
Please contact us via the email admin@belnorth.org to start the conversation if you are willing to support an amazing community club.

PlayFootball 2.0 is Brewing
On the 2nd of December, Football Australia transitioned to an ‘enhanced’ PlayFootball 2.0 Registration and Payment Platform for the 2025 season. It is promised to make the registration experience seamless and efficient for our football community.
Below are a list of resource links to prepare participants for the new platform.
- “What’s Changing” Playbook: Gain detailed insights into the new and enhanced features within the registration and payments platform. Access the playbook here.
- Participant Support Articles: access here.
- Support Videos: Watch visual tutorials covering various aspects of the new platform. Access videos here.
- FAQs: Find answers to common questions related to Playfootball v2.0 Platform. Access FAQs here.
So far, early experience with PlayFootball 2.0 has been sketchy, so please be patient with it’s performance. Hopefully, it won’t be a repeat of MyWay+ and will be ready for prime time in the new year!
