Parking at Summer Comp at Kaleen
With only 259 parking spots via Birie and Turon Place, parking is at a premium at Kaleen. On-street parking is available, but please be respectful of local residents and park safely/legally.
Unfortunately, we have had complaints from another sports club who had booked Kaleen enclosed. On the 25th of November, Summer Comp parents decided to open the gates of the Enclosed oval to take up parking spots. This caused enormous inconvenience for the sports club’s volunteers who had to wait for them to lock the gates.
Henk’s Summer Comp participants and parents do not have permission to park inside the black gates at Kaleen enclosed. If you do so, you will risk being locked in overnight.
A parking hack worth considering at Kaleen is instead of looking for spots on or off Diamantina Cres, try parking on the other side of the stormwater drain along Wakool Cct, Campaspe Cct, Florentine Cct or Tyrrell Cct.
Otherwise, please consider carpooling or riding a bike to Kaleen.
