Kat Notches up 10 years as Registrar

A big thank you and congratulations to Kat Newman, who has reached a massive milestone of 10 years of service on the committee as the Rooball Registrar, not to mention later adding the Just for Girls portfolio to her registrarship*.

Kat filled a casual vacancy on June 23rd, 2014, and hasn’t looked back. Kat has been a great steward of the club, not just in her role as a registrar. On game dayjunior or senior, she is often the go-to person if you want something or have questions.

Thank you, Kat. The club wouldn’t be where it is today without you!

*Kat is filling in as the Small Sided Games (SSG) Registrar. It would be great to give her a break from this role. Further details can be found below in the Vacancies section.

Dribl Team Sheet Completion

Thank you to all the coaches and managers for being diligent about completing the Team Sheets on the weekend. They were all completed as required.

Team coaches and managers, for every game, will need to:

  • Prepare and submit team player selection at least 30 minutes before the match starts. This means available, playing and starting. It is advised to set up the team sheet during the week in preparation for game day where you can make any required changes. Instructions are hereSenior teams who fail to submit will be deemed to have forfeited the match!
  • Confirm with the opposing team each other’s team list.
  • Add CVO details via officials sections. Note that the add button has been moved to the top right-hand corner.
  • Submit scores.

If you need assistance with Match Teams Sheets, please contact admin@belnorth.org.

Why do team sheets matter? To determine finals eligibility, grading in future seasons, and for disciplinary matters.

Also, note that there are fines for forfeiting matches. If your team is at risk of forfeiting, email admin@belnorth.org in the week leading up the game as there are options like borrowing players or postponing matches.

Volunteering In Sport Survey

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is seeking all kinds of volunteers to get involved in testing an idea around a ‘volunteer passport’.

What do we mean by volunteering? To some people, it might be called helping out, lending a hand, duty, being hospitable or charitable. Volunteering is defined as ‘time willingly given for the common good and without financial gain.’

Why Participate? This is a chance to influence how volunteering is facilitated nationwide, ensuring that the system works better for everyone involved.

The ASC would love to hear from you by completing this online formhttps://forms.office.com/r/Zw5mjLp2K3
