U10-U18 Grading Update
U10 to U18 grading for 2024 is well under way, and we have had some adjustments to the schedule.
The last session for U10 and U11 on Saturday, 9/3/2024, has been moved to Friday evening, 8/3/3024, still at Giralang. This is to allow families to take advantage of the long weekend. U10 will be at 5:30 pm and U11 will be at 6:45 pm. The second U10/U11 sessions will still be this Saturday morning, 2/3/2024.
There is also an update for goalkeepers. We now have two sessions set for goalkeeper grading for all age groups:
- 1/3/2024 (Friday) 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Giralang 1
- 8/3/2024 (Friday) 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Giralang 1
Check out all the age group times here.
If a player can’t attend grading, please contact grading@belnorth.org.

If you need help paying for registrations, please consider applying for our payment plans or the Hardship Scholarship.
A quick note for U5-U9 continuing players. Belnorth keeps teams together in these age groups unless requested otherwise, so you don’t need to let us know your child wants to stay in the same team. Only contact us if you want your child to try a different team in 2024.
The best contacts for these age groups are:
- U5-U7 Open: Ron on mini@belnorth.org.
- U8-U9 Open & U6-U9 Girls: Kat via rooreg@belnorth.org.
Foundation of Football Coaching Course
Capital Football is running a Foundation of Football Coaching Course on Saturday 2nd of March from 9 am to 5 pm at Hawker Synthetic.
The course primarily targets children aged 5 to 11, but the course is tailored to beginners and novices, making it suitable for coaches of older teams with limited experience.
The cost is $100. Belnorth FC will reimburse the course fee upon completion of coaching a winter team at Belnorth FC in 2024.
Child Supervision
Adults must be alert to and aware of risks and hazards and the potential for accidents and injury throughout training and competition.
Ensure that there is always appropriate supervision where the change room/toilet facility is accessible by adults or in ‘public’ change rooms/toilets.
See something, say something.
