Get paid to Referee or Run the Line in 2023

Are you a player or parent that volunteers to referee or run the line but don’t get paid?

Well, there is no better time to get qualified as a referee, with match fees increasing by 38% for Junior games and 62% for Senior games. The complete list of the 2023 winter match fees is here.

For those 14 years and above, the first step to becoming a referee is to complete the free Laws of the Game course, then register for a referee course when available in 2023, usually from February onwards.

Those 13 to 14 can do a 2-hour Game Leader course to referee U6 to U11 games. These courses are held in the months leading up to the season, in March and April.
