U10-U18 Fixtures Released

Capital Football has released the fixtures for U10-U18. They are powered by Dribl.

The standard web browser layout is an “acquired taste” with an improved experience via the WebAndroid and iOS apps. An account is required for the apps.

U10 to U18 coaches and managers will be using Dribl to do Match Sheets for their games. Email your registrar for help and training, and check out Dribl’s support page here.

U5 to U9 MiniRoos

The finishing touches are being applied to the U5 to U7 teams, with communication coming soon from Ron.

U8, U9, U6/7 Girls and U8/9 Girls teams have been released. If you haven’t received them, check your SPAM folder and email Kat at rooreg@belnorth.org if you still can’t locate the email.

Kit pick up for coaches/managers will be at the end of April before the start of the season on the 7th of May.

Draws will be coming at the end of this month. All games will be at Kaleen with the below kick-off times.

  • 8.45 am for U6s, U7s and U6/U7 girls
  • 9.40 am for U8s
  • 10.00 am for U5s

Game Day Manager positions vacant

With the U10-U18 season starting on the 23rd of April, we are looking for people to fill the Gameday manager/first aid officer role for the afternoon shift. This involves managing game day activities at Kaleen on Saturdays. First aid qualifications are essential.

If interested, email admin@belnorth.org with a resume.

Coaching Courses

Belnorth will be hosting two coaching courses in May. A Skills Training Certificate on Tuesday the 10th of May and Thursday the 19th of May for coaches of 9 to 13-year-old players. And a Game Training Certificate on Thursday the 12th of May and Tuesday the 17th of May for coaches of 13 to 17-year-old players.

Both courses are being run from 6 to 9 pm at Giralang field 2, costing $125. Belnorth coaches are eligible for fee reimbursement.

Are you interested in becoming a referee?

Refereeing offers an excellent opportunity to build an understanding of the gamestay fitdevelop confidence, earn pocket money and even get you to the World Cup! So whether you are a junior player who loves the game, looking for a first job, or a parent who spends plenty of time running the line and wants to get more involved, then refereeing is for you.

Capital Football offers two different entry-level courses, with Game Leaders aimed at kids aged 13-14 refereeing U8-U11 games and Level 4 Referees for those who are 14+ and refereeing full-field matches (U12-U18).

If you are interested, you can find more information at https://capitalfootball.com.au/referee/referee-training-programs/entry-level/ or contact our Referee Coordinator Matt Willington at refcoord@belnorth.org.

Game Leader courses will be running throughout April, and Level 4 courses will be run in early May, so register now, so you don’t miss out!
