A special shoutout goes to Matthew Willington, our long-time Junior Referee Coordinator, who was awarded a Life Membership for his 8 years in the role.
Matthew is hanging up his Referee Coordinator whistle after Henk’s Summer Comp this Summer, leaving gigantic boots to fill. Since 2019, Matthew has been nurturing Belnorth game leaders and referees, with many progressing through the ranks including being appointed to NPL Finals this past weekend.
Thank you, Matt, enjoy your Saturdays off next winter!
Henk’s Summer Comp & Recommended Waiting Lists
Summer Comp Nominations are now open. They will close on the 23rd of September.
Important: Waiting lists aren’t scary. If the age group cap is reached, teams will still be able to submit a nomination on the waiting list. We strongly encourage teams to still nominate if caps are reached. There are likely to be age groups who don’t reach their caps. This allows space for Waiting List teams into the comp. We have very rarely turned teams away in the past, and we will always try to find a spot for teams.
Kit Returns
- When: 2 pm to 5 pm Saturday 19/9
- Where: Central Hub, Kaleen Playing Fields
- What: jerseys, balls, bibs, cones, domes, gloves, team bag, training/toilet keys, any other items.
We ask that coaches/managers to launder jerseys, before the kit return. Jersey garment care advice can be found here. There is a Kit Return Form that we request team representatives fill out before their kit drop off to assist with counting kit items and reporting any missing items. This will help immensely with the off-season stocktake.
If you cannot make this kit return, please email admin@belnorth.org.
Coaches End of Season Survey 2026
Our coaches play a vital role in creating a positive football environment for our players and families. This survey is designed to help the club understand what worked well, where we can improve, and what support coaches need in future seasons.
It would be appreciated if coaches would fill out the survey to help improve the coaching experience and the overall operation of Belnorth Football Club. The survey takes 5 to 8 minutes.
