Parking Inspectors Are Coming!

ACT Sportsgrounds will be a focus of parking operations for the next two months, starting Wednesday 13th May. Parking operations will attend Sportsgrounds that have historic high levels of non-compliance and illegal parking such as the following identified grounds.

  • Kaleen
  • Harrison
  • O’Connor
  • Dickson

Patrols will occur on one weeknight a fortnight and most Saturdays and Sundays.

Goalkeeper Training Sessions

Calling for Expressions of Interest from Belnorth FC Junior and Senior goalkeepers interested in attending regular training sessions with Deakin Jewell from Capital Goalkeeper Coaching at Kaleen on Monday nights.

Who: U8 to U18 & Senior Goalkeepers
Where: Kaleen
When: Monday Nights starting 18/5 (specific age groups times TBD)

POTM Vouchers still to be collected

Some teams are yet to collect their first batch of Player of the Match vouchers. A list of teams that are yet to collect are here.

Coaches/Managers will be able to collect the POTM awards on Saturday, from the Central Hub at Kaleen.

Kanga Cup Team Support

To support Belnorth teams who enter themselves into the Kanga Cup, Belnorth offers a 25% rebate of the entry fee. Once entered, teams can apply via the form available here.

Kanga Cup Players Needed

Belnorth are seeking EOI from Belnorth players to join Kanga Cup teams in the following age groups:

  • U9 Open
  • U10 Girls
  • U10 Open
  • U11 Girls
  • U11 Open
  • U12 Open

When: 13th of July to the 17th of July
Where: various locations across Canberra
What: Tournament against interstate, local and sometimes international teams. There will be a minimum of 5 matches played with no more than 2 games per day.
Cost: ~$120-140 per player

Kanga Cup Player EOI

Female Football Week Photo Comp

To celebrate Female Football Week (8th to 17th May) Belnorth FC are holding a Photo Competition.

Take a photo of Belnorth FC female identifying players, coaches, managers and referees at games or training (with their consent of course) to go in the draw to win a Belnorth FC Beanie or Bottle. Two of each item are up for grabs.

Female Football Week: Daughters & Dads Training

This multi-award-winning, evidence-based program brings daughters and their dads or father figures together to build football skills, boost confidence, and strengthen relationships through fun, engaging sessions.

Across eight weeks, families will enjoy skill development, game-based activities, and a positive introduction to football for girls aged 5–12.

📅 Starts: Friday 15 May (8 weeks)
⏰ Time: 6:00pm–7:00pm
📍 Mawson Playing Fields
💲 Cost: $80 per family (includes shirts)

A reminder that all coaches, managers, and volunteers are required to have a Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) card. This includes both Junior and Senior team volunteers.

WWVP cards are FREE for volunteers.
