Why is my child’s registration still pending?
Registrations on PlayFootball are left pending until registrations for an age group close and teams are finalised.
Will there be games and training at Bonner?
We have had a few questions from former Gungahlin United families about the use of Bonner during winter.
Capital Football granted Belnorth indicative access to Bonner with an assumed increase in teams and players from the Gungahlin region. This indicative access will only be confirmed once registration numbers confirm Belnorth’s need for Bonner.
If Bonner access is confirmed, specific team training will be granted depending on individual team preferences. There is minimal facilities and no equipment storage options at Bonner. It is likely that only U14 to U18 and Senior teams will be able to utlilise Bonner for games, with equipment needing to be transported to the fields for each game by teams along with the limitations with Junior referee availability.
Become a Match Official in 2026
Becoming a referee is one of the most rewarding ways to stay involved in football. Whether you’re a player, parent, coach, or simply love the game, refereeing offers an opportunity to learn new skills, earn money, and join a supportive football community.

“He mentions the name of Eusebio – to say that Benfica cannot be racist because the best player in the history of Benfica is Eusebio. You know what Black players had to go through in the 1960s? Was he there to travel with Eusebio (to) every away game?
My dad is a Black person from the 1960s also who made his way. Probably at the time the only option they had is to be quiet, to say nothing, to be above it and to be 10 times better to get a little bit of credit.”
