Best time to get a piercing?

With the Summer Season over and no sight of organised football till February, now may be the ideal time for players to get piercings!

Why now?

Visible piercings are forbidden whilst playing football and taping them up is not acceptable.

So to avoid having to take out starter piercings when playing football in 2026, consider taking the plunge now during the festive season or January to avoid any heartache during the season to allow the 6 or so weeks for the hole to heal. Being summer, also be mindful of any recommended restrictions on swimming.

Player, Referee & Team 2026 EOI

Knowing the potential disruption caused by the loss of Gungahlin United to the football community, Belnorth FC is accepting EOI from Junior and Senior players, referees, teams, and coaches for the 2026 winter season. This will assist the club’s planning for next season.

Below are EOI forms. 2025 Belnorth members are welcome to submit their interest ahead of 2026.

2026 Registration Fees

Confirmation of Belnorth FC 2026 winter registration fees is pending Capital Football ratifying their fees which is advised to be 23/1/2026. Unfortunately, it seems to come later and later every season making it difficult for volunteers, parents and players to budget. We look on in envy at other football jurisdictions who receive this information in October and November.

2026 Pre-season Dates So Far

  • 23/1/2026: Registration Opens (pending fees)
  • February: U10-U18 Grading (specific dates TBD)
  • 6/4/2026: Seniors season starts

Registration closing dates and other preseason events are yet to be confirmed.
