End of Season Presentations
With the end of the season on the horizon, it’s time to think about Junior and Senior end of season presentations.
Seniors are first up on Saturday the 6th of September at the Belconnen Labor Club. The U12 to U18 and referees presentations will be the afternoon/evening of Saturday the 13th of September, also at the Belconnen Labor Club. Finally the U5 to U11 presentations are on Sunday afternoon the 21st of September at Kaleen High School.
The schedules for both junior presentations will be available soon along with catering arangements. Once finalised, U5-U18 team representatives will be directed to team catering forms to fill out.
Henk’s Summer Comp is Coming
The Henk’s Summer Comp is back late-October. Kaleen and Giralang are scheduled for longer maintenance periods to give them much needed TLC after the beating they have received this winter. This has required tweaking of the usual format and timing of the Summer Comp along with its capacity. Once these factors have been managed nominations will hopefully be open late August. Thank you for your patience.
Want to help organise the Summer Comp?
Organising the Summer Comp is a huge undertaking requiring both paid and volunteer roles to blend all the Junior and Senior nominations into a fully formed comp.
We are putting the call out for:
- Senior Summer Referees (Paid): refereeing adult games.
- Junior Summer Referees (Paid): refereeing U8 to U18 games.
- Summer Director/Organisers (Paid): Organises and manages Henk’s Summer Comp, including grading teams, formulating draws, referee allocation, disciplinary handling and game day staff management. Can be job shared. Mentoring will be provided.
- Summer Game Day Staff (Paid): Game Day Staff help with distributing equipment (goals, flags, etc) for game days and assisting members including the administration of first aid. First Aid and CPR qualifications are desirable.
If interested in being a Senior Summer Referee, Summer Director/Organiser or Game Day Staff, please email admin@belnorth.org. For Junior Summer Referee interest, please email refcoord@belnorth.org.

Team Photos Now Available
We have received the team photos from Michael Thompson Photography. They look schmick!
The photos will be available this Saturday from the Central Hub at Kaleen on Junior game day.
We ask that team coaches, managers or representatives pick up photos on the team’s behalf to distribute to those that ordered items. Individual photo orders will not be handed out, they must be collected as a team. Collectors will be asked to sign for photos.
