The Merimbula Grasshopper Football Club Inc. will host the 12th Karl Posselt Cup on the weekend of September 30th – October 1st, 2023. The tournament is played at the Berrambool Sports Complex in the coastal township of Merimbula, southern NSW.

This tournament is open to four divisions, under 12 Boys and 12 Girls, playing 9 v 9 format, plus under 13 Boys and 14 Girls playing 11 v 11. Club and association teams are welcome to enter.
This year the tournament will be played in the round-robin format in each age division. All teams are guaranteed at least four games over the two days of competition.

If the interest is there from participating teams, evening games will be played under the lights on Friday and Saturday. Please indicate if your team is interested in playing an evening match on these days.
The Far South Coast Football Referees Association will provide experienced cadet referees to officiate, although visiting teams are welcome to provide a local cadet referee from their area. Please inform the organisers before the tournament that your team is nominating a cadet referee so they can be included in the weekend’s referee roster.

The entry fee for the tournament is $250 per team. This assists in covering the cost of referee fees, match balls, trophies and ground fees for the tournament. The entry fee must be paid once your team has received notification of acceptance. Payments can be by cheque made to Merimbula Grasshoppers Soccer Football Club or by direct debit. Details will be listed on the notice of acceptance.
