Kit Return on 9/9/2023 & Volunteers Needed
Team kit returns (jerseys, balls, bibs, training equipment) will occur this Saturday, 9/9/2023, from 9 am to 12 pm at Kaleen Playing Fields.
All Jerseys are to be returned laundered by coaches/managers. Trophies will be withheld if a player’s designated jersey is not returned.
If there are issues with returning jerseys and training equipment on 9/9/2023, email admin@belnorth.org to organise an alternative. There will be no kit returns accepted at presentations!
Lastly, we are asking for volunteers to assist with the Kit Return on 9/9/2023. Please email admin@belnorth.org if you can assist.
SLW3 Belles bring home the Silverware
Congratulations to the State League Women’s Division 3 team, Belnorth FC Belles, on taking out the Minor Premiership and Championship with a 2-1 win in extra time against Weston Molonglo FC in the grand final on Sunday.

U18/2 Open Lions in Final on Saturday
Congratulations to our U18/2 Open team, the Belnorth Lions, who won their semi-final 2-1 on Saturday. Including a spectacular goal from a corner (just like McCabe in the World Cup).
The Lions now play in the final this Saturday, 9/9/2023, in the deep south of Calwell at 2 pm. Get along to support the boys to victory to prove they are the kings of the jungle!
Commiserations to teams, the U16/3 Open Eagles and U18/3 Open went down 2-1 and 3-1, respectively. Both games were end to end, with the Belnorth boys unfortunately unable to capitalise on their chances.
Summer Comp Nominations Open!
Nominations are now open for Henk’s Summer Comp 2023/24 and will close on 22/9/2023.
Open to players of all abilities that are 5 years and over, including new for 2023, a dedicated Womens Only Comp!
Individual, group and full-team nominations are all accepted.

Eskies & Volunteers needed for Junior Preso
With one thousand drinks to keep cold, we are putting the call-out for members to lend the club Eskies for the U5-U12 Presentation on 17/9/2023.
We also need volunteers to help in five shifts (below) at the presentation. Duties will include setting/packing up, unpacking trophies, handing out drinks and pizzas, along with collecting pizza boxes and drink containers for recycling.
- 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
- 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
- 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm
- 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
- 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Coerver® Coaching Holiday Camps offer a fun-filled soccer experience for boys and girls aged 3 – 16+ years.

Current Belnorth FC Vacancies
The below vital roles are currently vacant.
- Treasurer (volunteer/committee): Responsible for maintaining the financial accounts, receiving money, and paying invoices. A financial background with knowledge of bookkeeping is desirable. Belnorth’s bookkeeping is managed with Quickbooks.
- Small Side Games Registrar (volunteer/committee): Manages the registration and running of the U10 and U11 age groups along with general committee member duties (e.g. meetings, decisions)
- President (volunteer/committee member): Capital Football Liaison (disciplinary), Representative on External Meetings, Public Grant Administration, External Media Liaison.
- Vice President (volunteer/committee): Responsible for assisting the President.
Every volunteer, whether a coach, manager, CVO, referee or committee member, helps the club tick.
