Henk’s Summer Comp nominations are now open via our Summer Comp page. The competition starts 20th of October. With nominations closing 21st of September, so don’t sleep on organising your team!
Don’t think you have enough players for a team, then head over to our Junior Summer Comp and Senior Summer Comp Facebook groups to team up with some new friends.
Socceroos are coming to Canberra
The Socceroos are coming to town for the ANZAC Soccer Ashes!
Don’t miss the chance to see the team right here in Canberra this Friday, the 5th of September when they take on New Zealand.
CLW2 Belles Victorious!
The Belles, Belnorth’s Capital League Womens division two team triumphed 2 nil on Sunday against Canberra Juventus FC with Melanie Lloyd scoring a first half brace and duly picking up the player of the match award.
This is the Belles’ second championship in three years, after taking out CLW3 crown in 2023. Will they take CLW1 by storm in 2026, eyeing off a place in the NPLW?
Well done, Belles!
Junior Finals Wrap: Vikings in Final!
Junior semi-finals took place on Saturday. Commiserations to U16/2 Girls Strikers, U18/1 Open Hawks and U18/3 Open Eagles who missed out on reaching the final.
Congratulations to the U16/3 Open Vikings who defeated Belsouth FC Infinity in their semi-final, 2-1.
The Vikings will take on Weston Molonglo in the final down at Calwell 204 on Saturday at 9 am. If you can make the hike down to Calwell to cheer the team on, I’m sure they will appreciate it. Being under the intense tutelage of Ian and Hayden, they will be well prepared for an early morning kick-off to make your journey worthwhile.
Go Vikings! 🛶⚔️🛡️⚽

Eskies & Volunteers Needed U5-U11 Preso
With over one thousand drinks to keep cold, we are putting the call-out for members to lend the club Eskies for the U5-U11 Presentation on the 21/9/2025.
We also need volunteers to help in five shifts (below) at the presentation. Duties will include setting/packing-up, unpacking trophies, handing out drinks and pizzas, along with collecting pizza boxes and drink containers for recycling.
- 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
- 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
- 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
- 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
- 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
If any parents or players can assist, please ask them to email admin@belnorth.org.
Thank you to those who have already offered assistance.
Kit Return
With the closing rounds of the season, it’s time to think about team kit return.
What: Team Kit Return (jerseys, balls, bibs, training equipment, bags, keys)
When: 8:30 am to 12 pm, Saturday, 13/9/2025
Where: Kaleen Playing Fields, Birie Place, Kaleen ACT 2615
We ask that coaches/managers launder jerseys, prior to the kit return on 13/9/2025. Sniff tests will be applied to ensure compliance.
There is a Kit Return Inventory form that we request team representatives fill out prior their kit drop off to assist with counting kit items and reporting any missing items. This will help immensely with the off-season stocktake.
Please ensure that all jerseys are collected. Trophies will be withheld if a player’s designated jersey is not returned.
For U16 to U18 and Senior teams who have finished their seasons early, they can contact their registrars to organise earlier drop offs.
Lastly, we are asking for volunteers to assist with the Kit Return on the 13/9/2025. Please email admin@belnorth.org if you can assist.
