UPDATE (19/4/2026): Capital Football have revamped the Winter Walking Football Comp after a lacklustre EOI. The new competition will be two competitions, one Northside at Kaleen Indoor Sports and one Southside at Action Indoor Sports Kambah. There will also be one age group, O40s. The competition is still a mixed Expressions of interest have been extended until the 27th of April, 2026.
Walking Football is a social, non-contact version of the beautiful game—perfect for staying active without the risk of high-impact injuries. Whether you’re a former pro or have never kicked a ball, we’d love to have you. The competition is run by Capital Football.

Competition Details
- When: Mondays
- Where: Action Indoor Sports, Kambah and Kaleen Indoor Sports, Kaleen.
- Kick-Off Times: 6:15 pm, 7 pm, 7:45 pm
- Age Group: O40s. A Player’s age is determined on 31 December 2026.
- Over 40s competition, players must be between 40-59 years old except
- Per the Competition Regulations, up to one (1) player per team is eligible to be between 25-39 years old.
- Over 40s competition, players must be between 40-59 years old except
- Gender: Mixed (Per the Competition Regulations, there is a requirement for all teams to have a minimum of two (2) female players registered, and on the field during Matchplay)
- Cost: $180 per player
