Team Photos going ahead rain, hail or shine

Junior team photos start this Saturday, the 6th of August. With the rain and the possibility of games being washed out, photo sessions will go ahead at the timeslot Michael Thompson Photography emailed to you. If you haven’t received your team’s time, email janeane@mtphoto.com.au.

Member Survey with a chance to win!

Thank you to everyone who has filled out the survey so far! It’s great to get feedback from across the different parts of the club, from U5 parents to O55parentscoachesmanagers and officials.

If you haven’t already filled out the survey, there is still time before the 10th of August 2022 closing date. We are sure there are some gem insights from members yet to fill out the form!

And remember, you have the option to go into the draw to win either a free junior winter registration or $200 towards a senior winter registration for 2023.

Go on, share your thoughts!

Dribl Feedback

Capital Football has requested community feedback about Dribl to prepare for the 2023 season. We have created the feedback form below to collate your experiences and opinions.

We want to hear from you if you are a parent, player, coach, manager, Game Leader or Referee.

We request that feedback is provided by Friday the 5th of August so we can present your feedback to Capital Football.

No Dogs at training or games

We know members love them, but dogs are not allowed at ACT Sportsgrounds during training and games.

So please keep the members of your fur family at home.

There is a fine for taking dogs into prohibited areas, and that is $150.

Junior and Senior Presentations

The Juniors and Seniors Presentations are on Saturday the 17th of September. So save the date!

The Junior Presentation is at UC Kaleen High School in the morning, and the Senior Presentation is at The Clubhouse Kaleen in the evening. It will be great to hold them after a two-year hiatus.

Henk’s Summer Comp Viability

October of any year for Belnorth FC usually means Henk’s Summer Comp. In light of the ongoing lack of volunteers and referees, we are assessing the viability of both the Junior and Senior Comps before opening nominations.

We know our members and the community want summer football, so we will try to make it happen. If you are interested in assisting with the Summer Comp, whether in a big or small way, email summer@belnorth.org.

Current Belnorth FC Vacancies

With the season in the home stretch, it’s never too late to consider the below vacant roles at the club.

  • Summer Director (Paid): Organises and manages Henk’s Summer Comp.
  • Summer Comp Referees (Paid): referee 6-a-side games
  • Small Side Games Registrar (volunteer/committee member): Manages the registration and running of the U10 and U11 age groups along with general committee member duties (e.g. meetings, decisions)
  • Grounds and Fixtures Officer (volunteer/committee member): Manages the ground bookings, training field allocations and field equipment (goals/flags) along with general committee member duties (e.g. meetings, decisions)

Every volunteer, whether a coach, manager, CVO, referee or committee member, helps the club tick, so if you want to help, please email admin@belnorth.org.

“You tell me, and I forget. You teach me, and I remember. You involve me, and I learn.”
